The Sales Manager is responsible for increasing revenue through effective management of the sales team. Candidates should have a good track record in IT consulting or solution sales (either hardware or software). The candidate is expected to be actively involved in sales activities, in addition to leading the sales team.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Manage the complete sales process, including the following areas:
Create and implement the sales strategy and plan
Develop an extensive network of clients
Maintain senior-level relationships with major accounts
Recruit, train, and develop an effective sales team
Implement best practice based sales processes
Lead the development of sales tools, and presentations
Develop and maintain the monthly sales forecast and track sales activities
Required Skills:
Experience in IT consulting and solution sales
Understanding of basic system architecture and system design concepts
Strong knowledge of IT vendor solutions and Japanese third party vendors
Knowledge of IT Industry including software and hardware
Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint
The ideal candidate will be a Japanese national with excellent spoken and written English
Knowledge of Sales Force Automation tools is a plus
